A very desirable copy of this beautiful book, internally fresh and clean and fine, all plates perfect, the binding bright and vivid with just a bit of minor wear at the extremities and a hint of age evidence.

The work, costume and architecture of the Nile peoples at the turn of the century are here preserved in exquisite composition. In addition, the binder’s art and design is well evidenced in the rich decorative beauty of the very handsomely decorated cloth.
