Cable, Princeton, N.J. Jan y 15, 1902 . A letter is laid in, dated 1960. It tells how the book was first given to S.R. Trowbridge by the author when Mr. Trowbridge hosted the author at the Monday night club in Princeton. The letter is addressed to another Steve Trowbridge, presumably a grandson.

In a green cloth clamshell box with black morocco lettering label. 330 pp. near fine with just light wear to the extremities of the cloth.
