Portrait frontispiece, numerous folding plans and maps in text, large color folding map in rear pocket. 8vo, rose cloth lettered in gilt on spines. xxvi, 623; xiv, 690 pp. A very good copy, the text clean and very bright and all plates in good order as is the folding map, the hinges are firm and strong and the binding unworn, the gilt is bright but the rose cloth exhibits the spine mellowing nearly always found on this edition.
