Illustrated with 14 aquatints and lithographic botanical plates. 8vo, bound in full polished contemporary calf, the covers ruled in gilt, the spine with gilt stopped bands separating the compartments, gilt panel designs with central floral tooling gilt, black morocco lettering label gilt. xv, [1 errata], 413 pp. A very well preserved copy, the book handsome and clean internally, the binding with only normal evidence of age, the spine sometime relaid and the hinges reinforced expertly and sympathetically incorporating antique marbled endleaves. This copy does not have the map.
