Large, royal 8vo, publisher's original sea green cloth,with gilt lettering on spine and a bust of a polar bear in white, the upper cover also has the gilt letters and an embossed medal of Peary. xii, 326. A very handsome copy, very well preserved, the spine panel polar bear image is white and complete, the gilt is bright, cover gilt and medallion are in gilt and well preserved, the cloth is also clean and in pleasing condition, the text-block and plates are also very well preserved, the hinges tight and strong and without defect.
