Married and living in Paris, part of a resistance network headed by Mitterand who later became President of the country, Duras recounts the turmoil of the period. She is present at the trial of a collaborator and relates the experience of her being pursued sexually by a Gestapo officer even as she was a member of the resistance. Item #31100
