In this outing Princess Ozma and Dorothy travel to an obscure corner of the Land of Oz, in order to prevent a war between the Skeezers and the Flatheads. They soon find themselves imprisoned by the Skeezers; so Glinda and a cohort of Dorothy's friends (including the Tin Woodsman, Scarecrow, and Wizard of Oz) set out to the rescue! Item #32072

Early printing of the title. With John R. Neill’s original black and white illustrations throughout, including illustrated endleaves and with the colour plate to the upper cover. Large 8vo, publisher’s original gray cloth over boards, the upper cover with a pictorial pastedown in colours, by John R. Neill. 279 pp. A very good copy, the binding clean and in good order, some light rubbing to the pastedown at the tips, quite well preserved, the spine panel in good order with no chipping, slightly shaken.
