THE HISTORY OF JULIUS CAESAR

(New York: Harper & Brothers, 1863).

ONE OF JACOB ABBOTT'S POPULAR BIOGRAPHIES WRITTEN FOR YOUNG PEOPLE. While his clear and distinct writing style made his works suitable for a young audience his books are intended for those with a degree of maturity, as he does not skimp on the facts or their implications. A prolific author, JULIUS CAESAR is one of 22 historic biographies written over a period of roughly twenty years. In all he authored or co-authored over 200 books, many of which were novels or novellas. Item #32563
