This book is the result. It gies a new interpretation of the Middle East campaigns for Jerusalem an Damascus, the major operations to which the Aragb Revolt was tied. War Cabinet records to soldeirs' storeies weree opened for the first time to Hart during his authoring of the book. And certain letters of T.E. Lawrence are published here for the first time. Drafts of the chapters were necessarily submitted to Lawrence and a number of his notes and remembrances are included here, also for the first time. Maps and diagrams and reproductions of wartime photographs are also used to illustrate the book throughout. Item #34627
