A HANDSOME KING ARTHUR ARRANGED FOR YOUNG READERS AND NICELY ILLUSTRATED. Frank Godwin was largely associated with comic strips, and did artwork for many of them, including Wonder Woman. With a colour frontispiece and three plates in colour and twelve plates in black and white by Frank Godwin. 8vo, publisher's original maroon cloth, the upper cover with a large colour pictorial pastedown also by Frank Godwin, with lettering on the spine, Godwin illustrated endpapers printed in red. xv, 256 pp. A good copy of a book rarely found in pleasing condition, internally clean and solid, the binding firm and strong, the cloth a bit mellowed, the gilt border to the pastedown a bit rubbed, the lettering on the spine faded.
