The sixty-four colourplates (there were only thirty-two in the previous printing) are produced in A. & C. With 64 beautiful and finely produced colourplates by various artists with captioned tissue-guards, and with a map of Italy at the end of the volume. 4to, publisher's original sea-blue cloth with all over decorations to the upper cover and spine panel featuring a vineyard motif--- green, black, yellow and purple, the upper cover lettered in black, the spine lettered in gilt, I xi, 206 pp. A very fine, very bright, very clean and beautifully preserved copy. Near as pristine.
